Vance & Betty Dunn
540-273-8258 Vance and Betty have each been in the real estate industry since 1983. Betty is a native of Morehead City, a small town along the coast of North Carolina. She owned a real estate company there until 1998 when she met and married Vance, sold her company, and moved to the Fredericksburg area to retire. It wasn't long before her love of real estate was calling her back. She is a certified residential specialist, graduate of the realtors institute, certified short sale specialist, and a certified foreclosure specialist. She has helped hundreds of families buy and sell properties throughout her 27 year career. Vance grew up in the Bear Lake area in Idaho, served a church mission in Peru, is a retired Navy captain, and holds a bachelors degree in construction supervision and design. He was very busy selling new homes for a local builder and was finding that more and more of his customers were building homes at Lake Anna so they sold their home in Fredericksburg and moved to the lake. Vance obtained a Class A Building Contractors license in 2005 and specializes in building quality custom homes with careful attention to every detail. Vance has an eye for design and is expert in recognizing the needed changes to make a floor plan live well. He also provides the same attention to detail for customers who need additions or remodeling to their existing homes. They absolutely love lake living. During their eight year marriage they have built 3 new homes and have a first hand knowledge of what their customers experience during the building/moving process. They have both been consistent top producers in their respective fields, Vance in new home sales, design and construction, and Betty in general real estate. They enjoy helping others find and build their dream homes. Together they have six children and twelve grandchildren. All of the children are married with children of their own except for their youngest daughter who is attending college. When they are not helping others build or locate their dream homes, they can be found boating with family members or lounging around their dock and swimming with the grand kids enjoying the good life. |

Liz Wilson
540-226-6475 Liz Wilson, has been a resident of Lake Anna for fifteen years. After commuting from Lake Anna to Stuarts Draft, VA for 12 years while working in a position of Production Planner and Purchasing Manager for a very successful health care manufacturing company (a total of 23 years),she was fortunate to be able to retire early, but unfortunately, the stock market wasn't in her favor and it was time to find another job. Real Estate became her choice. In 3 1/2 years of being a Realtor, she has made Top Producer and Honors for the past two years acquiring over 5 million dollars in sales and listings each year. She has learned that in real estate education is a great tool. She has achieved the GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designations, and is currently working on obtaining her Broker's license. Her goal is to provide the best in service and knowledge to her customers and clients. Throughout my three years as a Realtor, my main focus has been the Lake Anna area; however, I have also branched out to surrounding areas in Louisa, Caroline, Spotsylvania and Orange Counties. I feel it is important to stay on top of the trends and marketing analysis of land and property throughout the various counties. I love lake living, but most of all helping people find their dream. After a lengthy career engaged in the sales and marketing of photographic equipment and supplies, my wife, Jan, and I relocated to Ocean View, Delaware in 2004. We have two daughters and three grandsons currently living in Northern Virginia, and living in Southern Delaware rather than upstate New York provides us with the opportunity to see our family more frequently.For the past six years I have been involved in the sales and marketing of real estate. Living in Southern Delaware and being involved in real estate in this market has given me the opportunity to gain a high level of understanding about what it takes to be successful in a market that is centered around the sale of second homes that are used primarily as vacation homes as well as the sale of homes to individuals that are considering retirement and are looking for that last home they intend to purchase. I am at ease selling new home construction or selling existing homes on the market and understand the unique advantages of single family homes and townhomes. John Harmon

At the same time he was a machinist, then a flight School owner and director of maintenance for 34 aircraft while maintaining his interest in real estate. John obtained is real estate license in 2002 and became a full-time agent at that time. In the past 8 years he gained experience managing businesses including a real estate office in which he was a partner. His duties included day to day management, escrow and commission accounts, and agent training. Toni Yates
540-226-1686 Born in Charleston, SC, Toni Yates grew up near Denver, Colorado. She camped, hiked and fished the Rocky Mountains with her father and sisters at a young age and developed her love of horses when a Little Britches rodeo rider taught her to ride. Summers were often spent at her grandfather’s cabin on a lake. She married and had her oldest son Erik (who lives in Colorado), living in Washington state and New Hampshire (also on a lake). She was with Citicorp for 13 years and relocated to northern Virginia in the 80’s where she met her now husband of over 20 years, Terry, a civil engineer. Terry is a native from southwest Virginia in the Appalachian Mountains. After their oldest son was born in Reston, a job opportunity led them to Toledo, OH where they renovated a turn-of-the-century townhouse in the Old West End and had 2 more children. When another opportunity arose in Virginia in 1994 they rented a house at Lake Anna sight unseen and began to look for a house to buy in Fredericksburg. The more they looked, the more they decided to stay in the Lake Anna area and the rest is literally history. After living at the lake since 1994, they now live at historic Greenway Farm on 34 acres within a couple miles of Lake Anna. They have dogs, cats, miniature and Quarter horses. Toni got her real estate license in 1996 and was with 2 Lake Anna firms prior to founding RE/MAX Lake & Country with a partner. After 8 successful years the business was sold so that the partners could focus on their clients. Toni loves to travel and has been to Mexico, Dominica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Aruba, England, Italy and Switzerland. She is soon to be a grandmother and also has a son at VMI and a son and daughter at Orange County High School. |

Lil has been listing and selling land and homes at Lake Anna since 1995. She has had the opportunity to market hundreds of homes and parcels of property for her clients. In addition she serves as a docent for the Louisa County historical Society participating in Civil War reenactments and belongs to the Hearth cooking group of the society. Lil is active with the local spay and neuter association SNAP. She also grows a large vegetable and herb garden each year, loves to ride and hike and belongs to the Monticello association. She has been active in church activities and superintendent of vacation bible school for many years. |

Dee Miller 540-845-5699 Realtor/Sales Associate Dee Miller has been a resident of Lake Anna for the past fifteen years after moving from the Northern Virginia area, where she was born. After college she worked in the construction industry working her way to project management. She worked in the residential and commercial field until she married in 1991 to her electrician husband. Having two in the construction field, Dee moved onto an accounting position with the Smithsonian Museum shops and still works part time from home. She has built her own home at Lake Anna along with helping build her parents and brothers homes next door. It wasn’t hard having a general contractor owning Sundance Homes for a brother. As her children grew older she wanted to get back into the construction industry and decided on real estate. She started with a group from the Fredericksburg area, traveling to Northern Virginia, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, Orange and Louisa. She has dealt with all types of transactions. In a down turned market she learned to expect the unexpected. Dee then moved to Realty World for its opportunities and to work closer to home. Dee has three children in the Spotsylvania county school system with one at each; Livingston Elementary, Post Oak Middle and Spotsylvania High. She is very active with the schools organizations and sports programs, as well as many local community groups. She enjoys boating with her family, sports and being creative. |
